Tiffany Wentland, NCMTBW
I was born and raised in Southern Pines NC where I attended Sandhills Community College. I received an Associate Degree in Applied Science in Massage Therapy in 2006 and then went on to take and pass the National Certification Exam through the National Certification Board in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. I was licensed in North Carolina from 2006 – 2007 when I moved to Fort Wayne and began practicing here.
Through my two year schooling and subsequent continuing education I have been trained in Swedish (relaxation), Deep Tissue, Myofascial, Sports, Pregnancy, Tui-na (chinese medical massage both table and mat applications), Chair, and Integrative Neuromuscular massage. I also have training in stretching, rehabilitative exercise, and hydrotherapy.
I am currently a full time student at IPFW in my junior year working toward a Bachelor in Biology with intentions to attend medical school afterward.
I believe massage is a modality that can be used to help with a wide range of complaints both mental and physical. It should be tailored to fit with the clients’ needs and expectations and be as pain free as possible. My passion is treating repetitive use injuries and trauma, but I enjoy the variety provided by training in a wide range of modalities. I joined Associate MT’s in December of 2008 and I look forward to continuing to provide quality service and dedication to clients health and well-being.
